Membership Disqualification Criteria
Membership Disqualification Criteria
A member of the Yuva Karnataka Vedike may be disqualified or suspended under the following circumstances:
- 1.  Violation of Professional Standards
- Engaging in illegal, unethical, or unsafe practices that harm the public, fellow members, or the reputation of the profession.
- Displaying bossism or superiority toward fellow members or treating others unfairly or disrespectfully without valid reason.
- 2.  Misconduct & Misbehaviour
- Any form of harassment, discrimination, or abusive behaviour toward public, colleagues, or association members.
- Public actions, statements, or social media posts that damage the credibility or image of the association.
- 3.  Negligence & Non-Participation
- Repeated failure to attend meetings, programs, or events without valid reason.
- Ignoring responsibilities or commitments assigned by the association.
- 4.  Misuse of Resources or Assets
- Misuse or misappropriation of association funds, documents, or resources for personal benefit.
- Failure to maintain proper records, including purchase bills, banners, brochures, and other official materials of the association.
- Neglecting safety standards or failing to maintain valid operational compliance required for professional operation.
- 5.  Disrespect Toward Members or Leadership
- Disruptive behaviour that harms the unity, peace, or cooperative spirit of the association.
- Defiance or non-compliance with the legitimate decisions and directions of the executive committee or leadership.
- 6.  Unauthorised Use of Association Name or Funds
- Using the name, logo, or identity of Yuva Karnataka Vedike without official permission for personal or financial gain is strictly prohibited.
- Collecting money, donations, or contributions from the public, members, or sponsors in the name of the association without written authorization from the Executive Committee will result in immediate suspension or permanent disqualification.
- Any such act will be treated as a serious violation of trust and integrity, and legal action may also be initiated if required.
- 7.  Repeated Violations
- Persistent or continuous breaches of association rules, ethical standards, or operational policies — even after receiving repeated warnings or disciplinary notices — will result in permanent disqualification from membership.
- Members found repeatedly disregarding the values, objectives, or unity of the association shall be removed to preserve discipline and organizational integrity.

- 1.  Initiation of Procedure
- Any complaint or report against a member must be submitted in writing to the association leadership.
- The Executive Committee or designated Disciplinary Panel will review the complaint for validity.
- 2.  Investigation
- The committee conducts a fair and impartial investigation, gathering facts and statements from all relevant parties.
- The member in question is informed of the complaint and given an opportunity to present their side.
- 3.  Decision Making
- After reviewing all evidence, the committee may decide to:
- Issue a warning (minor first-time offenses).
- Suspend membership for a defined period.
- Disqualify the member permanently for severe or repeated violations.
- Decisions are documented in writing and communicated to the member.
- 4.  Appeal Process
- The member may appeal the decision within a specified time frame (e.g., 15 days).
- An independent review panel or higher authority in the association reviews the appeal.
- The panel’s decision is final and binding.
- 5.  Enforcement
- Once disqualified, the member loses all rights and privileges of membership.
- The association may restrict access to resources, events, and representation.
- Records of disqualification are maintained for transparency.
